At SCV it is our desire to create an environment where growth (evangelism & discipleship) happens naturally. Our philosophy is to focus on creating a healthy environment in which people have opportunity and encouragement to grow. To help give some direction we've developed a Pathway to Growth.

We don't believe that growth happens as well as it could without some level of intentionality; however, when it comes to authentic Christian growth, neither do we believe that "one size fits all."

This “pathway” might be more accurately thought of as a series of “pathways” with each one running (eventually) in the same direction but winding this way or that way and criss-crossing with other paths along the way. Like a good tourist map it helps individuals to identify potentials sites to visit (access points for growth in this case) so that travelers know what their options are.
